STEP ONE: Exploring the machine
After receiving a sewing machine I was very excited to get started and couldn't wait to use it! I had only used a sewing machine when I was very young so I didn't know that much about them, but I suppose I knew a little. I got the John Lewis mini red sewing machine. This machine is described as a good portable machine, good for beginners and overall is a fantastic machine.
After exploring the machine further I realised that it had many different stiching options, a compartment to put some materials and lots more. My first challenge was threading the bobbin...
